Quick Wrap: Nifty Auto Index gains 2.52%

Nifty Auto index ended up 2.52% at 13250 today. The index has gained 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Escorts Kubota Ltd rose 9.58%, MRF Ltd gained 4.62% and Bosch Ltd jumped 4.54%. The Nifty Auto index has soared 31.00% over last one year compared to the 7.62% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index gained 1.97% and Nifty MNC index added 1.55% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.72% to close at 17825.25 while the SENSEX increased 0.64% to close at 59842.21 today.
